About Northshore Hack Night

What is Northshore Hack Night?

Northshore Hack Night is an opportunity for the tech-minded or tech-curious to meet, learn, and collaborate in a social setting. Feel free to bring your laptops and show off your latest work-in-progress, code quietly amongst yourself, or argue the benefits of memory managed languages amongst your peers.

Who should attend?

In short anyone and everyone is welcomed and encouraged to attend. Those who are encouraged to attend include but are not limited to:

  • Code Monkeys
  • White/Black/Grey Hats
  • AOL Users
  • Open Source Contributors
  • Human Beings
  • Bit Twidlers
  • Solder Jockeys
  • The Tech-Curious
  • You!

Who can I talk to when I attend?

Feel free to walk up and talk to anyone. If in doubt or you don't know where to start our greeters would be more than happy to introduce themselves:

Josh

Will there be presentations?

Relevant presentations may or may not be given and presented topics will be noted on any meeting announcements. However it really depends on the desires and involvement of the hack night community. When given presentations are encouraged to remain brief (15min each or less) and will not take up more than 30min of each hack night.

Volunteers for presentations are always encouraged. Even presentations that may not be fully complete are more than welcome. A projector and projection screen screen will be provided for those interested.
